We are looking for a Crypto & Stablecoin Infrastructure Engineer to build and operate production-grade crypto payment infrastructure from the ground up.

You will work at the intersection of fintech and decentralized protocols, designing secure and reliable infrastructure for USDC, USDT, and other stablecoin payments, with an initial focus on Polygon and EVM-compatible networks.

This is a hands-on senior engineering role. You will own critical blockchain payment infrastructure, from self-hosted payment gateways and wallet integrations to transaction monitoring, settlement, reconciliation, treasury controls, and production operations.

What You'll Do

Architect, deploy, and operate self-hosted crypto payment infrastructure, including solutions such as BTCPay Server, SHKeeper, BitHide, PayRam, Bitcart, or comparable systems.
Build reliable payment flows covering invoice creation, address/wallet management, blockchain detection, confirmations/finality, settlement, and reconciliation.
Build and operate USDC, USDT, and other stablecoin payment infrastructure on Polygon and other EVM networks.
Work with Polygon Labs and the Polygon ecosystem on technical integrations and stablecoin/payment infrastructure where required.
Build blockchain event-processing systems for deposits, withdrawals, confirmations, failed/stuck transactions, reorgs, and payment-status updates.
Integrate wallets, custody providers, RPC providers, blockchain indexing services, DEXs, and DeFi protocols.
Design multi-chain abstractions that allow additional stablecoins and networks to be added without major architectural changes.
Implement secure wallet, treasury, withdrawal, and settlement infrastructure.
Design systems for transaction reconciliation, accounting, monitoring, alerting, and operational controls.
Optimize gas costs, RPC usage, transaction throughput, latency, and infrastructure reliability.
Build secure APIs and backend services supporting high-volume blockchain payments.
Establish production standards for observability, incident response, backups, disaster recovery, and infrastructure security.
Collaborate with product, security, compliance, finance, and operations teams to deliver reliable crypto payment experiences.

What You Bring

3+ years of software engineering experience, with significant hands-on experience in crypto/blockchain infrastructure.
Demonstrated experience operating production crypto payment or blockchain infrastructure, not just proof-of-concept integrations.
Strong experience with Polygon, Ethereum, and EVM-compatible networks.
Hands-on experience with USDC, USDT, ERC-20 tokens, and stablecoin payment flows.
Deep understanding of ERC-20 token mechanics and events, transaction lifecycle and finality, nonce management, gas estimation and fee management, RPC infrastructure, blockchain reorgs and failed transactions, wallet/address management, payment reconciliation.
Experience deploying and managing self-hosted systems using Linux, Docker, databases, reverse proxies, TLS, monitoring, backups, and CI/CD.
Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, or comparable backend technologies.
Experience with Web3 tooling such as ethers.js, viem, web3.js, or equivalent.
Experience building event-driven and asynchronous systems capable of processing blockchain transactions reliably.
Strong understanding of crypto security, including private-key management, multisig, HSM/KMS, secrets management, hot/cold wallet architecture, withdrawal controls, and transaction authorization.
Experience designing systems for high availability, monitoring, alerting, incident response, and disaster recovery.
Strong understanding of APIs, databases, distributed systems, testing, and production operations.

Experience operating a production stablecoin payment processor.
Experience supporting high-volume USDC/USDT payments.
Experience integrating multiple chains behind a unified payment API.
Experience with blockchain indexing platforms and on-chain data infrastructure.

What Success Looks Like

You will be able to independently take a crypto payment system from architecture through production: deploy the infrastructure, integrate Polygon/USDC/USDT, securely manage wallets and transactions, monitor blockchain events, handle failures and reorgs, reconcile payments, and operate the system at scale.
You will help create a multi-chain stablecoin payment platform that is secure, observable, highly available, and extensible to additional assets and networks.
